The Tisbury Lagoon Pond is a very special inlet rising from the heart of the vineyard, surrounded by ancient springs and beautiful wooded areas. The farm sits just off of Oklahoma Springs and 500 yards north of The Water Works where spring water has been leading herring to spawn for centuries. At the head of the pond, It is a well-protected area providing excellent food and conditions for oysters to thrive. The water’s depth ranges from 16 - 28 feet on site, allowing for vertical farm techniques to be used from surface to bottom. The variety of fish and wildlife in the surrounding area creates a harmonious landscape that is a true gem of Martha's Vineyard Island.
